Both species of Ibis nest at the Ocean City Welcome Center in New Jersey. The light brown ibis is an immature white ibis. White Ibis, a southern bird, first began nesting in New Jersey in 2020. 3 of 8 posts

The first stop on our trip to the Pine Barrens was the nesting area at the Ocean City Welcome Center on the Stainton Memorial Causeway, New Jersey. It was a treat to get peaks at the Egret’s blue eggs. 2 of 8 posts.

Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn, NY has hundreds of doors to the mausoleums. Next to the Callery pear tree is a gate to the afterlife. The last image shows the Manhattan skyline at the horizon.
