I used my cell phone and Lightroom for these.

There are plenty of lovely doors on the famous 5th Avenue shopping area in Manhattan.
Here are 3 for Thursday Doors 8/18/2002 https://nofacilities.com/2022/09/15/the-road-to-preston/

The Petite Boucherie, a French bistro, is on the corner of a charming little alley called Gay Street and Christopher Street. It is not far from Sheridan Square in Greenwich Village, Manhattan, New York City. I like to dine there occasionally. I was going to eat lunch there recently with Marc but it was too hot. They had opened all the windows wide to the outside. I’ll eat there again when the weather is cooler. For Thursday Doors 9/8/2022 https://nofacilities.com/2022/09/08/clay-hill-leftovers/.

I often see people taking photographs of the ivy-covered building. The middle door is in that building and the last door is labeled “Beau Geste” on Greenwich Street a few doors away. Beau Geste is an adventure novel by British writer P. C. Wren. For Thursday doors 9/1/2022 https://nofacilities.com/2022/09/01/more-from-clay-hill/.

When we visit the New York Botanical Gardens I like to eat a late lunch at Arthur Avenue in the Bronx. It is an Italian district with many restaurants and stores. I buy bread, cheeses and meats to take home. This old door is is in the interior of one of the restaurants there. We ate there in April of 2022. For Thursday Doors 8/25/2022.

The 17th Annual Shorebird Festival at Jamaica Bay took place on August 13, 2022. It was nice to see many old friends at there. The weather couldn’t have been better. Not too hot and with a brisk breeze at the East Pond to drive away the mosquitos.
