That first door stopped me cold. Then I saw ‘Bulgari’ and all became clear! I’ve never been inside Bulgari or Harry Winston, but I think I mentioned that I once shopped at Bergdorf. Their door isn’t quite so over the top, but at least I found a little something that was affordable (at least, in the 1980s).
