One of my favorite drives is up the Hudson River along route 9W in New Jersey and up through New York. Starting from the George Washington Bridge we stopped at Greenbrook (a little private nature sanctuary). Next we stopped at the State Line Lookout. Then we drove on up to Iona Island. After that we crossed the Bear Mountain Bridge and drove back down along Route 202 and 9 on the east side of the Hudson.
