Greenbrook Dragonflies
We saw a hummingbird, osprey, and red-tailed hawks (one was a light orange). The lake is only a puddle now so no ducks or other birds. There are lots of dragonflies.

I’m trying to identify grasses. I can usually ID the main families.

From the little nature sanctuary on the Palisades by the Hudson River in in New Jersey. It felt cool amongst all the greens.
Two Tree Parts in Greenbrook
To bring out the seed pods I darkened the background. I used the same process on the tree root with some color enhancements.
Landscapes at Greenbrook
Greenbrook is a lovely little private nature sanctuary. It is a pity that the little wooden bench at the base if the tree has collapsed. I would love some places to sit and rest.
Rocks at Greenbrook
The igneous rocks at Greenbrook are part of the Palisades Sill – Wikipedia. The rocks are mostly diabase. Research on the origins of the intrusion(s) is ongoing.
