Newburgh

On the way home from Woodstock we stopped to eat dinner at Blu Pointe in Newburgh, Orange County, New York, by the Hudson River. The food was good and so were the views. We saw a skinny fox run bay the window. The Newburgh-Beacon Bridge is in the background.

Saugerties Lighthouse

The Saugerties Lighthouse is at the Esopus Creek Estuary in New York. They offer overnight stays. I imaging it would be fun if you can afford it.

Esopus Creek

Esopus Creek is in Ulster County NY and flows into the Hudson River. There are a few nature preserves there.

Saw Kill and Tannery Brook Woodstock

Last weekend we went to Woodstock to hear Douglas Sheer speak at he art center. On Saturday it rained very hard and the rivers were churning and overflowing.
