On the way home from Woodstock we stopped to eat dinner at Blu Pointe in Newburgh, Orange County, New York, by the Hudson River. The food was good and so were the views. We saw a skinny fox run bay the window. The Newburgh-Beacon Bridge is in the background.

What a wonderful spot on the river this is, Sherry, and FUN to see a fox run by. I am not at all familiar with this neck of the woods and find the Hudson River so big and beautiful. Great photos.
Thank you, Jet. Love your comment.
I’ve been through Newburgh so many times (beginning in the 70s) but I’ve always either just been starting out or on the last leg of a long trip. I’ve never stopped.
That restaurant is worth a visit. 😉👍
Thanks for sharing this idea of these images. Anita
Good views
It was nice there. Good morning Derrick.
I finally learned that Orange, Texas is named for the Dutch who settled there. I’d bet that your Orange County is connected to the Dutch who settled in that area, too.
It is, “Algonquian-speaking Indians lived in the area in the 17th century. One of the original New York counties, Orange was created in 1683 and named for William of Orange (later William III of England).”
