It was a long day. We arrived home at sunset.

Some scenes along the road. And for the location of Hawk’s Nest : scenic wild delaware river – hawks-nest

This scenic road trip along the Dealware River starts at Porft Jervis and ends at Hanckock, New York in Orange County: backroadplanet.com/upper-delaware-scenic-byway. We drove about 225 miles round trip from Manhattan.
I chose route 23 on the way up because it is more scenic and there are interstign places to stop along the way. One of the farmers markets that we stopped at was GreenValleyFarmsNJ. I bought squashes and butter.

On the way home from Woodstock we stopped to eat dinner at Blu Pointe in Newburgh, Orange County, New York, by the Hudson River. The food was good and so were the views. We saw a skinny fox run bay the window. The Newburgh-Beacon Bridge is in the background.
