A rainy day at the New York Botanical Garden continued.



The High Line mostly native plants: Keep It Wild: Celebrating Native Plants | The High Line. The flowers and fruit of the bigleaf magnolia are really huge. They fruit is about 4 inches long.




I photographed these on a hot afternoon in Central Park. On the way home I found some ice in the gutter. I used it as a background on the last image.








Marc and I did stopped ant the wildlife refuge and later at the Island Nature Trail in Chincoteague. There were hundreds of newly hatched little toads.













On my way uptown to the B&H Camera store I walked on the High Line. I photographed a few of the flowers. I love the geometric flowers of Mountain Laurel.
