I just love that frog.

Cranberry Lake Preserve is in Westchester County, New York. It is by the Kensico Reservoir. We had a nice 1.5 mile hiked around the pond. I prefer scrambled eggs to dog vomit for the name of the fungus. I gave the last three photographs watercolor and sketch effects in Photoshop.

The Gansevoort Beach is a great place to find a variety of insects. Mother duck only had one ducking left.

I saw these in The Loch at the north end of Central Park in New York City.

I didn’t see that many birds. My focus was on insects. I used AI to fix the blurry chipping sparrow.

We like to attend the annual Littoral Society Picnic. I go on a few of their trips during the year and admire the work that they do. Littoral News – Littoral Society has information on recent activities. Upcoming Events – Littoral Society This year we joined the seining group. We decided not to go on the bird or nature walk. A while after lunch we went on a few short walks before driving home.

The blue grosbeak at Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge was a treat. So where the black-necked stilts. Someone must have put that black swan there. It is native to Australia.
