An assortment of some of the birds we saw during the festival. It was nice to see some of my birding friends there.

I found three species of sumac. Apparently, one can eat horse mushrooms. They are huge – about 8 inches wide.

The Gansevoort Beach is a great place to find a variety of insects. Mother duck only had one ducking left.
