Not having heard of the poet’s daffodil, and curious about the name, I looked it up: “The Narcissus poeticus is called the “poet’s daffodil” because it is widely believed to be the narcissus of ancient Greek literature, which was immortalized in poetry by classical writers like Virgil, Theophrastus, and Ovid. Its poetic name, poeticus, was coined by Linnaeus, likely linking it to the ancient legend of Narcissus, a youth who admired his own reflection.”
A lovely range
Thanks Derrick 🙂
The beauty of spring. These are wonderful photos.
Thank you very much Dan. A bit of processing helps.
