These are the ones I picked to submit for 6 topics to submit for the Optic Challenge. I don’t expect to win. I enjoy seeing what other people photograph. the event is freed and a lot of fun. There are lectures and prizes. You can sign up for the Optic All Stars online event by clicking here. Check it out – you might enjoy it. I always do. In June I won $100 to spend at B&H answering a quiz at the online social during Optic 2020.

A few of the birds we saw during a short trip to Jamaica Bay.

A huge number of Brant (about) recently came in from Canada and were the stars of the show at Jamaica Bay, Brooklyn, New York. They flew over the path first to the bay then to the pond. They couldn’t decide where to settle. I love the sounds they make (click to play sounds).

As part of f64 Elite by Blake Rudis I submitted a couple of images for the November critique. He asked for old images reworked. I replaced the backgrounds and enhanced the colors. The first image is the original White-breasted Nuthatch, Central Park 4/28/2015.

The bees are busy still on the asters, mint, and other seasonal flowers. Post 3 of 4.

Saturday was a very birdy day (lots of Fall migrants). I didn’t make many bird pictures because I didn’t bring my long lens.

Last week Paula, Marc and I drove to the Bayard Cutting Arboretum. We had dinner after in at the Flounder Inn in Oakdale, Long Island. It took me a while to process these because I have been busy house hunting, etc.
