Light from a prism shone into our cyclamen making it look on fire.

Chinatown has been hit hard by the pandemic. They are trying to get people to come. The cheery lanterns are inviting. We went there for dinner and ate in a cubicle outside. The food was good. A cold rain began to fall. Ordering a sizzling plater was a good idea because it kept the food hot. Next time I’ll bring a blanket and a thermal cup for the tea. Someone needs to invent a rechargeable plate warmer for outdoor dining. I couldn’t find one on Amazon to take with me for outdoor winter dining.

An odd thing that caught my eye. It looks like someone tried to put a finger in the manhole and was run over.

Collage of leaves from photos taken last November while waiting for a bus on Horatio Street, New York City.

Some pictures I made during the snow storm. New York City had 10.5 inches. Note the snow cushions. Outdoor dining is not on.

A couple of days ago we went shopping by car. On the way on Horatio Street a robin was eating cherries. After shopping at Whole Foods we sat at a bench by the Gowanus Canal by the parking lot and ate lunch. It was fun watching the boats and drawbridge. Lastly, we drove to Red Hook (link to history) to briefly shop at the Food Bazaar.

A short trip to Central Park.
