Brooklyn Br Pk Door

There are lots of shops and eateries at Brooklyn Bridge Park. This is an old iron door they kept on the old warehouse facade.

Bridges at Sunset

I have been super busy lately and it took me a long time to prepare these. The light changed as the sun set so I made a lot of pictures.

The evening at Brooklyn Bridge Park in Dumbo was very dramatic with a storm and lots of atmosphere.

I added a bolt of lightning that I saw strike the Freedom Tower to the first photograph.

Artful Butterflies

A composite of butterflies photographed in the Butterfly Meadow, Central Park, and edited in Corel Painter and Photoshop.

Young Wet Robin

I photographed this young bird in Central Park yesterday. Many birds were taking baths in the Loch. I’ve read they don’t do bathe to cool off, but it looked like that to me—it was a hot day.

Water Tower

I photographed this water tank this morning from my kitchen window. I don’t suppose it is dificult for you to guess what I did to this image?

Conception Door

My husband, Marc Felix, was conceived in an apartment in this building in 1945. Soon after that his family moved to Horatio Street.

One Rusty Berry

I was intrigued by the little yellow tufts on one berry on this bush. I did a search and came up with Cedar-hawthorn Rust (Crataegus).
