There are lots of shops and eateries at Brooklyn Bridge Park. This is an old iron door they kept on the old warehouse facade.

Love the iron doors and the architecture!
Me too 🙂
Love these doors, and their decision to allow eateries and shops in this building!! Mega mood here:)
It is a lovely looking place. If they didn’t play music full blast I would go there to eat. I had to shout and repeat myself 3 times to order a coffee. I can’t understand why so many places do that these days. It kills any hope of conversation and makes me to tense to enjoy the food. I left with my coffee to go.
I agree! I might give a place like this a note (since the music is too loud for them to hear you say it, lol) of a few lines, you would love to eat here, if the music would be turned down, so you did not have to shout the whole time. It may go against your grain to be so outspoken, but the music is so loud, because they think it’s “fun” ot it will attract customers” or “a young crowd, etc. I don’t think they expect it would turn off some customers, and how do they know, If someone wouldn’t tell them that? You would have to give your note to the supervisor, or someone in charge though.
I will try to do that next time I go during the day. It was late at night and I doubt I could have found someone in charge to complain to. Lots of restaurants play loud music and patrons seem to like it.
stunning images, and fabulous doors
Thanks Becky.
Lovely images. Thanks for sharing them 🙂
Thanks Norm.
Lovely burnished cast
Golden afternoon sun 🙂
Nice wide doors, Sherry!
They needed them to allow carriages in 🙂
Oh yea that’s right 👍🏼
What great doors, Sherry. Nice to see the rest of the façade as well, with the matching windows and beautiful brickwork.
Lovely building. I would like to eat there if I could hear or talk above the loud music. I can’t understand why they do that.
