I found the place to be a little depressing. It influenced how I processed these.

Hempstead House and Castle Gould are in Sands Point Preserve in Nassau County, Long Island, New York. The house tour was a disappointment. It isn’t furnished and past multiple uses has destroyed a lot of the character. I will not return for another visit. I liked Old Westbury Garden much better.
