It’s been a cold and rainy week, leaving plenty of time to stay home and take care of business.
I photographed these with my cell phone while at breakfast and during a short walk to a store.
During our Sunday morning walk we found a little Ovenbird in Abingdon Square.
There are lovely little Japanese Maple trees in the small front yards a few blocks away.
Taken with a Nikon D750 with an AF-S Micro Nikkor 105mm f2.8 G ED lens. I photographed with the intent of collection images for composites. I merged multiple images in Photoshop as layers and used masking to create these composites.
Local macros. The second is edited in Photoshop.

There are so many lovely plantings by the doors of the old buildings in
Greenwich Village. The best time to see them is in the Spring. It is easy to social distance if we go for a walk early.
