At the end of February we went to Planting Fields Arboretum, mainly to photograph the Camellias in the greenhouse. See the interesting history about The Olmsted Brothers and their design.
For Dan’s Thursday Doors: East Hartford Detour – No Facilities

Wow, these are beautiful photos, Sherry! I am especially drawn to the photo of the open white door. 🙂
Thank you Brenda.
I can’t say anything that doesn’t sound gushy, so I’ll just say thank you for taking us there.
Thank you Maureen. I am glad you enjoyed my post.
That arboretum is a beautiful place.
I agree, It is a lovely place.
Among this excellent set I really like the drama of No. 4
Thanks Derrick. I used different looks on each of these.

Amazing
These are all such beautiful photos, Sherry. My favorite is that parlor of sitting room. That scene is lovely. Camellias were my mother’s favorite flower. It was very difficult to find a florist that had any in the Pittsburgh area, but my father would order a corsage (well in advance) for her to wear on Easter Sunday.
I am pleased that I triggered such a lovely memory Dan. I’ll be posting some of the flowers tomorrow.
🙂
