After the Canada geese is a photograph of a root. There is a row of trees that sent out roots from the path into the lawn (seen in the picture with the geese). It is a very curious thing. There must be more water in the lawn for them.

Love this collection. My all out favorite is the one of the Canadian geese and their uniform trees!
Thanks BB.
Your root picture reminds me of the roots that wrecked some structures round graves in the Victorian cemeteries I photographed for the Magnificent Seven book.
Trees are a lot more active than we think. And they are immensely powerful. I like the new theories on plant communication and how trees communicate with each other. This row helps prove the theory.
This has been a lovely tour, Sherry. Thank you so much for sharing. I hope to get back for another visit, but this will hold me over for a while.
When you do, I would love to show you around. Marc could give you a Greenwich Village history tour.
I will let you know.
That root reminded me of wildflowers I’ve seen growing up through asphalt. Nature will not be denied.
It made me laugh at the trees reaching over for water. Like someone putting their hand in the cookie jar. 🙂
Thought bubble: “Maybe if I stay low, they won’t notice.”
LOL 🤣
The photo of the hospital is stunning!! What shades!!
Thanks. I’m glad you like my processing of it.
Very much!! 🙂
