    I know we have native lady’s slipper orchids, but I’ve yet to find one. I need to spend more time in the east Texas woods!

      There were some yellow Lady slippers in Central Park, but people took them. Unfortunately, that is usually what happens to wild ones.

        That’s why I never publicize the exact location of certain flowers I see.

          The same applies to rare birds. We keep the locations of owls a secret. I can’t wait for spring.
