It’s a terrific place for doors. This 5th in the series of Green-Wood Cemetery posts is for Thursday Doors: For Dan at https://nofacilities.com/2021/09/23/superior-street-doors/

These photos are just beautiful, each one playfully dripping into the next. The Egyptian mausoleum is a first for me, how lucky to find this. All terrific together Sherry.

The captures of the doors and headstone are all beautiful, but I love your fourth with the branches hanging down the most – it could be the cover of a book! Many thanks for writing me about the top right icon – that really helped me decide not to mess with it! Have a great weekend, Emille

Thank you so much. Glad you enjoyed these.
I have a gripe with WordPress. I used a lot of space on WP. I need more but the only way to get it is to go from 10 GB to 200 GB for an additional cost of $17 more a month. They don’t offer a plan that is half way between the 2. I pay $8 a month now. All I need is an extra 10-20 GB. I’ll have to delete all my old work on my site here to make room. They don’t care about what we need, only about what makes a profit.

Ouch, it hurts to delete your old work! Yeah, I discovered that for anything extra you need, you pay. I guess it depends on how much an extra $17 is worth it – it would mean a weekly coffee, I would not do it, but If you don’t care about coffee, it would be worth it (gripingly!!)

My gripe is is the plans they offer. There is $4 for 6GB, $8 for 13 GB, and $25 for 200 GB. The jump in the amount of storage is larger that my current needs and the price jump is too large. WordPress should offer an intermediate plan. Coffee here is at the most $4 a cup. 🙂 I love my coffee.

These photos are wonderful, Sherry. I love the way you portrayed the last one. The mausoleum doors, and gates are so intricate. I really like the little gate that you included. There’s a quality to that that I can’t describe. It would be so easy to walk around, and yet it looks imposing. Thanks for sharing these with Thursday Doors .

Thank you so much Dan. That gate is lovely just sitting there by itself. I love the green patina on many of the doors so pulled that out in my B&W conversions. It is easy to make good images with such lovely source material.
