Did you encounter many other people when you were out taking these pictures?

Not very many that day. Way more go to the park when the paths are more passable. I have a problem with getting there. too many riders of mass transit don’t care to wear masks.

Your snowy scenes here are enchanting, Sherry. Hard to believe there are millions of people residing nearby. I like the stormy skies in the first overview photos, and the close-ups are equally as attractive. I espec. like the final photo with all the lines and curves and color contrasts.

Love the wildness of your third capture! Snow makes for such interesting contrasts on tree trunks – I love it! Jesh

I really like the long, extended branch in the first photo. It’s a shame the tree has a fence around it; I suppose it’s to keep people from climbing on it. It’s a reasonable precaution, but…

I like the last photo, too, with the contrast between the warm wood and the snow. The fourth image made me laugh; it reminded me of the bowl of nuts and the big nutcracker that we always had in winter. I’d be tempted to title the image “Snowcracker.” The little pile of snow looks like a nut between the jaws of the limbs.

Thanks you for your lovely comments. The claw or nutcracker is funny.

What a pity that we have to endure the cold to enjoy such a show!

Similar States. We stayed at a place on Dogleg River Road in Estil County. The neighbor’s youngest was called Peanut.
