In June, I photographed mountain laurel in three locations. I found a pink variety in a right-of-way near Call Hollow Road near the Bayard Cutting Arboretum. At the arboretum there was a striking red variety. I love the sculptural design of the flowers.

Mountain Laurel is one of my favorites. We had one in Stuyvesant Town and they cut it down. I am so sorry they did to replace it with nothing. Beautiful pictures
