Marc and I attended an event for members at the New York Botanical Garden. First we were given an excellent tour of the Azalea Garden | New York Botanical Garden. The young lady that led our tour was very knowledgeable. Next we were all driven in a tram to the Stone Mill. There, we enjoyed a lovely buffet lunch. And it was an opportunity to meet and talk with other members. The Stone Mill is used for events, like weddings (Stone Mill | Bronx Premier Wedding Venue | NY Botanical Garden).
There is a lot of species of Rhododendron – Wikipedia. Azaleas are in the Rhododendron’s 1,024 member group. NYBG boasts 6,706 individual azalea and rhododendron plants, which represent 456 different species, hybrids, and cultivated varieties.

Thanks Derrick
I liked the raindrop touch in the photos.
Thanks. It was raining. I sometimes see photgraphers spray water on the flowers for that effect. 🌧️
