I went to the New York Botanical Garden in late March to photograph some magnolias. They are a little late this year because of the cold Spring with. The bees fought over the few flowers.

Wonderful pictures, the first being a magnificent capture well described
Thank you so much Derrick. You made my day.
That is good
Gorgeous flowers and photos Sherry!
Thank you dear Aletta

Thanks but I am too late. I knew Cee but I never post just one picture so I never joined in. Sad news about Cee. I just learned that she passed away this March. https://thesquaresofb.com/2025/03/30/in-memory-of-cee-neuner/comment-page-3/#comment-88808
It was her wish that her photo challenges would continue. Her partner Chris is keeping the blog alive.

That is lovely. Thanks.
I was at the NYBG on Thursday for the orchids, but also enjoyed the sense of early spring outside, the moment when daffodils, cherry blossoms, forsythia, and magnolias coincide.
I am trying to find time to see all my favorite places in NYC for spring blooms. Next week should be good.
