Near the Everett Children’s Adventure Garden is a stream that attracts birds, and humans who feed them. The young hawk didn’t try to catch one while we were there.

All well seen and photographed
Thank you Derrick
I love these photos, Sherry! We have regular visits from some of these birds, and it’s delightful to see them so clearly,
Thanks Dan. I used a Nikon Z7 with their 200 mm zoom lens.
Nice collection of birds Sherry!
Thank you. I love our winter birds. I just reread “The Courage of Birds: And the Often Surprising Ways They Survive Winter” by Pete Dunne.
Many of our winter favorites.
🙂 Yes indceed.
Oh did I ever enjoy these action photos of your winter birds, Sherry. I love the blue jay with peanut suspended above the snow with the squirrel watching. Great titmouse photos too, especially the end photo. But it was the opening male No.Cardinal that grabbed me most–the sunshine on red.
Glad you enjoyed these Jet. You may enjoy this book. I just reread “The Courage of Birds: And the Often Surprising Ways They Survive Winter” by Pete Dunne.
Thanks, Sherry. I met Pete Dunne on a Cape May bird walk years ago, thanks for the book recommendation, have not read it.
You were so fortunate to see so many different birds there Sherry!
Thank you Aletta. These are common winter birds in northeast America.
