NYBG Plants

Continuing the gloomy mood at the NY Botanical Gardens. I redid these because I didn’t succeed in making them gloomy.

I agree, it doesn’t look gloomy! Did you get rained on, on your trip? 🙂

Oh dear. Not what I was aiming for. I redid them.
Only before and after the picnic while we ate dinner at a fish restaurant overlooking the bay.

It does not look gloomy. It looks cheerful.
We went to Randall’s Island and saw the nesting Cliff Swallows. They are under the arches.

I redid them. I want them to look gloomy.
Love to see the swallows. I had trouble with a Lyme flare up so my mobility is still down. I’m working on it.

Great photos of the NYBG plants, Sherry. I love the bright red thorns (#3) and the flamboyant red flower with red leaves (#4).

They used some interesting plants for this special exhibit. Lots of reds and spooky things.
