Staten Island Wildlife

The Linnaean NY group saw 62 species of birds. I saw 53 of them. We had a lovely day touring the Conference House Park, Wolfe’s Pond, Blueberry Park (shore only), and Great Kills Park. It wasn’t a great day for me for taking photographs.

It is interesting how the nest is attached.

Great to see all these denizens of Staten Island, Sherry. I especially liked seeing the Carolina Wren singing its springtime message; and the creeper climbing up the tree trunk.

Thanks Jet. The wren and creeper are two of my favorite birds.
