High Line Park

A walk along the High Line on November 19, 2022 in New York City. I chanced upon a warbler near 14th Street.

Photographed with a Sony Rx10 M4 and processed in Lightroom.

Thanks. There is so much there for us to find in nature.

How wonderful, that you found all generations of the milkweed bugs. I found the rear-end view of the warbler especially interesting; there’s a pleasing swirl to the feathers. I think the blue/purple asters are my favorite. They do shine in that nicely processed view.

I think those are NY Asters. They are lovely this time of year. I like the warbler’s rear too 🙂

Lovely autumn colours in the leaves and the star pod is so unusual 🙂

Oh, wow. I’ve never seen a Star Pod. Is that the same thing as Star Anise? I thought they only grew where it was hot like Texas and Florida.

I don’t know the name. I confess. I made it up just to put a label on it. Usually, I try to be accurate.

A rose by any other name would be just as beautiful.
