On October 11th we went to the New York Botanical Garden. After we ate an Italian meal at a restaurant on Arthur Avenue in the Bronx. I took so many decent photographs I will be posting them for the next 8 days. For this series I replaced the background with textures.

Creativity at its best, Sherry. My eyes are drawn to the leaves. I think they also would have worked beautiful on black or white background. But the textures truly add an extra element to your compositions. Each image deserves a separate post. Reinhold

Thanks very much Reinhold. I used to paint flowers with plain backgrounds and shadows http://www.sherryfelix.com/portfolio/portfolio-paintings.html.
