I spent a day in the New York Botanical Garden, Bronx, NY last weekend with the Sierra Photo NY group. We split up and went our own way and met up for lunch and dinner.
This first post in the series of four posts are photographs I either unsaturated parts of or made completely black and white.
Hi Sherry, botanical gardens are my favorite place to visit. In mostly black and white – an additional challenge …I love the 3rd for the movement of the branches, and the contrast! Have not been much in blog land for a month, because of repeated power outages because of all the fires in the state, and am slowly catching up now. Have a great weekend!

I like the third one a lot too. Thank you. Glad to see you back and unscathed. Let’s all vote for people who will do something about the climate crisis.

It may sound strange to you, but this is the normal course of things, not a crisis (meaning something that is unusual). Once or twice in a decade California has a number of fires (it is a desert climate, and anything can cause a spark). It’s because so many people live there, that is scary for their safety.
