We had a week away! The first in many years. Possible because I feel energized and much recovered from years of chronic Lyme. Thanks to the Morrison Center in NYC. This trip was so restorative.
We stayed at an AirBnB (not the best) in Egg Harbor, NJ. Here are photos from the first day when we went to Forsythe:
Hi Sherry Thanks for these photos. Forsythe is my favorite place in the world. I go there all the time in all seasons to enjoy the peace And Beauty that the Refuge holds. I go every year on January 1 so that I begin my year enjoying what is there that day. Glad to see some of Forsythe’s beauty from your eye. See you soon Linda Sent from my iPhone
It was a complete joy to see these photos, Sherry, for not only was each one a beautiful expression of the wilderness; but the wonder you were feeling at the time showed through in your photographs. Forsythe is a spectacular wetlands refuge, from all I have read, how fortunate that your health and circumstances allowed this opportunity. Each photos was really well done, but I especially liked the owlet moth caterpillar next to the towering blade of grass. Really impressive that you labeled each species, too. Many thanks.
Thanks so much. It was a spectacular week. It took me a long time to ID some things properly. I like to know what they all are. You would love Forsythe.
Lovely images, Sherry! Glad to hear you’re feeling better.
