Not usual to see a Worm-eating Warbler feeding high up in a birch tree.

Brilliant. Thank you. Wikipedia has the yellow variety with the white markings on the leaves as Yellow Archangel, Artillery Plant, or Aluminium Plant (Lamium galeobdolon).

Thanks. I had to remove a branch from in front of its face so it didn’t look like the bird was about to crash πŸ™‚

Thanks. Warblers are a trip. Tiny fast moving little birds often high up in the trees. Central Park is a major hotspot for them during migration. It is not that hard to see them, photographing one is another matter πŸ™‚

Oh such a treat to “walk” through Central Park with you Sherry. And I really appreciate seeing the worm-eating warbler. Glad to see the migration is in full swing!

The dogwood flowers are so pretty! Thank you for following my blog! I got a scare seeing my face up here so big (joking). Am on instagram too, but hardly know how to get around on there…

I put a few things on Instagram now and then, but it is a pain to do. I have to upload the file to my phone, download it, open it and then add to Instagram. Thank you for looking at mine πŸ™‚

What a lovely assortment of birds and flowers! Your photos make Central Park look like a magical place. Your cormorant with the turtles is my favourite. The cormorants haven’t arrived here yet, but soon.

Your first picture has reminded me of birch catkins from my long-ago childhood on Long Island.

That is a birch tree it is feeding on. It had dark bark. Which species I do not know.
