The foreground is original. The leaves really were that color! I added duplicates of the branches and applied effects in Photoshop.
Created in Photoshop. NIKON D610, f-stop 5.6, exposure time 1/500sec. ISO 1600, focal length 400mm, and max aperture 5.
Version 2. Response to a request to make the bird stand out.

Being a birder, I would like to see the sparrow take a larger position in the picture. The leaves do add a vibrant touch. My attention is drawn more to the leaves than to the sparrow. Is there a way
to bring out attention to the sparrow and still show the leaves?

I enjoyed the contrast between the sparrow, red leaves, and faded out color in the background

That bright red is the most unnatural natural color! Not to be believed! The bird is cute, perched amongst all the action created by the brightness of the red color.
