    what a beautiful painting
the heron looks as if about to step out of the picture to strike

This picture is very artistic, and I love it. It captures the essence of the bird in a mystical -kind of setting.

To me this is the best of the lot. Like a painting, it has emotional appeal, and is very beautiful.

I didn’t really like this one. It looked too cloudy and misty..Kind of faded.

I love the misty colors, and the painterly effect. I believe the bird is asleep, with one foot drawn up, but somehow, that particular pose makes the bird figure look a bit odd, I think.

It is a typical heron pose. If it had been on two legs I think the image might look too static and the bird would have less movement or attitiude. You are making me think about it and I appreciate that. I will try out some different poses when I get a chance. This is great. I am getting a lot of very good feedback.
