A muted back and white background in Photoshop with aged scratches added in onOne creates this muted image. I brought out the green of the Rosehips to make the m the focal point.
Created in Photoshop. NIKON D600, f-stop 8, exposure time 1/400sec., ISO ·320, focal length

the first one
the stems need extra green, too
with line here and there on the pods

Adding contrast changes the feel.

I would like to see a little more contrast between the Rosehips and the backgound. it is a lovely picture and should inspire people to observe nature.

The rose hips are wonderful. You can actually see the small hairs on them. I don’t like the muted background on this one. It looks like it rains bur the rose hips are not wet. More background contrast may be better too.

Dear Louise,
You are a trooper. Thanks for all the help. As part of the assignment I have to edit each one based on comments. You set me a lot of work :). I will do it. My big concern with adding more contrast to some is it will change the feel of the images. Soft images that do not have high contrast set a mood. There is always room for two version. I will make the changes then I hope folks will vote on them. Did you notice I did one or two you commented on? Did I succeed in make those more like you advised?
