After my art.

Before

I created the first image in Corel Painter.
The breezes from the Hudson help to cool keep it cool in the summer. We spent some time seated in the shade of an enormous Linden tree. The plants in the rock garden are randomly arranged in square tubs of varying sizes.

Wave Hill is a peaceful and tranquil place.

The variety and quality of flowers at Wave Hill is exceptional. I am sorry but I do not know the names of many of these cultivars. If anyone can add a few names I would appreciate it.

The history of Wave Hill, starting in 1853, is interesting, see the history page at Wave Hill’s site.

Spent a lovely day at Wave Hill, Bronx, NY, yesterday photographing the flowers and a few other things. I will be posting some of the flowers at a future date.
Here are a few doors for Norm’s Thrusday Doors 6/16/2016.
