High Line P1100 Plants

I bought a new bridge camera, a Nikon COOLPIX P1100 with a 24-3000 mm optical zoom. It came out this February. It is good for travel because it is lighter than my my Nikon Z7 with several lenses. I tested it out a little on my way back from B & H Camera store. It is a replacement for my Sony Rx10M4 which came out in 2017. Sony is not making any updates to it or new cameras like it. Probably because they can make more money selling camera bodies and lenses separately. I’ll hold on to the Rx10M4 because it will sell for more that I paid for it soon. I did almost no editing on these.

That’s a camera I’m thinking of getting. Interesting to see the images that it gives

I love the bird tracking feature. The super zoom can be a little fuzzy because of the atmosphere. The snap back zoom button helps one focus on an object 3000 mm away. I am very happy with it so far. It has been so hot this week I haven’t gone out to use it.

It is a nice camera and takes good photographs. It is probably too heavy and big for your liking. 🙂

Those are beautiful, Sherry. It’s fun breaking in a new camera 🙂

Thanks. It works well. I like how the P1100 tracks birds. My other cameras cannot do that.
