Roaring Forks Water

We drove the Roaring Forks Motor Tour twice during our stay near Gatlinburg, Tennessee by the Great Smoky Mountains National Park (U.S. National Park Service) (nps.gov) part of the Blue Ridge Mountain system.

Here are a few images made of the water in the air and on the ground during the first tour.

The moss and plants were vibrant almost glowing green. 🙂

I love the name “Place of a Thousand Drips” as much as I love the images of the landscape. Of course, that name did take me right back to high school — long before ‘geek’ and ‘nerd’ became common, ‘drip’ served much the same purpose.

You’re not a drip LOL. The name a Thousand Drips reminds me of Arabian Nights.
