Around the corner form us is the Chelsea Market by the Meat Packing District in Manhattan, New York. Once owned by the National Biscuit Company. It is a fun place to visit and has lots of shops and eateries in it. For Thursday doors st Duff, June 9, 2022.

Been a long time since I’ve been there, but it looks pretty much the same. As someone remarked, a good combination of old and new. (K)

Bricks and metal are a modern combination for dwellings that want to maintain a certain flair of an old style.

An eclectic collection to be sure, Sherry. The name of the building makes me think of the Joni Mitchell song “Chelsea Morning” that starts, “Woke up, it was a Chelsea morning…”.

I had to look up the song. I never followed Joni Mitchel. I wonder if she meant Chelsea in the UK?

You have an interesting mix of doors, here, Sherry. I love the one with the equipment (or image of equipment, it’s hard to tell) behind the doors. It looks historic and futuristic at the same time.

Thanks Dan. I think it is an art installation.

Such an intriguing building, love the exposed brick, brass (?) doors, and cement surfaces. Really nice photos!
