German Doors

Mixed locations in Germany: Dessau, Inselteich, Cottbus and Lübben. My daughter-in-law Heike used to work at the place in the first photo long ago. Marc thought it would be fun to own the house in the last two photographs.

Happy Thanksgiving to all.

For Thursday doors November 25, 2021.

Great collection of doors. Love the Dessau door – very art noveau, and much like a lot of the doors in old Riga.

Oh my goodness, the blue accents in the windows, the embellishment around the arched door and round window and those big iron hinges are all amazing. The building at Cottbus is incredible. The house at the end would make a fun project. A bit of a money pit, but still.

    Happy Thanksgiving Sherry

Ohh, another wonderful door mix. I love the most the pinkish of Dessau and the bluish of Cottbuss.
