A dozen flowers. This will be the last for a while, until I get more photographs.

Love the gallery you are presenting here, Sherry. The roses look stunningly against the grey sky.

The way you edited these pictures really makes the color on each petal pop. Amazing!

Beautiful! I much prefer my flowers with color, but then I never got great-grandpa’s artistic genes – I am just Miss Plain and Simple! Hope your med regimen is working. Maryam and I leave for Bermuda next Sunday. Amir took this past week off to help Hassan with pool repairs. Thanks to them, I have it running better than the day we moved in. Of course all around it is still a mess!! Love to Marc, Cathy

Thanks. I agree, very few flowers work well in black and white. It can work if the image has good structure, contrast, and patterns. Some think B&W is artsy and convert images to B&W that shouldn’t be.
You certainly need a cool pool in this heart. I am staying indoors for most of the summer. It is too hot out in the streets of NYC.

Funny you picked that one. It’s my favorite too. Such a weird flower!
