Awesome, Sherry! 🙂 Maybe E.E. Cummings gazed at them! Is Patchin Place, where E.E.Cummings used to live, around there? It would be great if you could take some photos of Patchin Place! 🙂
Beautiful doors. Are the flowers below the lamp painted on the wall, or are they a metal sculpture? Either way, it’s impressive. The rope-like trim on #51 is the perfect finish to such an elegant door.
Ooh these are all gorgeous. Another vote for the door at 51 here. All of the lamps in these shots are works of art. It’s hard not to love such attention to detail.
Great post Sherry.
They’re all beautiful doors. I like the stylized leaf work under the lamp in the first photo, but the door in the 2nd photo is my favourite. There’s a simple elegance to those wooden doors with the thin oval windows.
I love doors and WOW these are charming. Lovely post!
Thanks. Appreciate your comment.
Lovely doors, that last one is impressive.
Thanks. I like it too.
Such beautiful and elegant doors!
Thanks. Yes they are..

I’ll put that on my to do list.
That would be awesome! Thank you! 🙂
Such charming doors. Your photos do them justice 🙂
Thanks. I processed them carefully in Lightroom.
The first one, and the decoration with the lamp (is it painted, or is it metal?) and the pillars of 66 is an impressive frame for the doors! Jesh
Metal attached to the lamp. Thanks for the comment.

Metal sculpture attached to the lamp. NYC has some great doors. 🙂 Thanks.

Thanks Norm. NYC will keep me in good doors for yeas 🙂

Thanks Joan. It sure is a great block for doors.
I love the lamp over the first door and the lions and the architecture above the last one 🙂
You picked my favorites too 🙂
