Rather than show my snaps of the gorgeous Chihuly glass on exhibit at the NY Botanical Gardens I cropped them to squares of colors and patterns. Please do take a look at the links for more information.

You’ve captured a lovely smokiness – the colours go so well together.

I love how you cropped these! It really highlights the variety of textures and colors that he captures. I would love to see the exhibit at night.

I loved that you cropped the images! Gives Chihuly’s work a different feel. Now I can focus on his use of color and shape within the glass. His work feels very organic and natural.

so love lots of Chihuly in my garden!! However looking at what’s in with my ‘piggy-bank’ think I’ll just have to continue to enjoy his artistry in public gardens.

I love his glass. I liked the Chihuly installation better in in 2006, the forms and placements blended with the plants more.
