Iona Island – NYSDEC is next to Doodletown, New York – Wikipedia on Route 9w in Rockalnd County. We planned to stop there but the road out to the island was flooded that day. You can read more about it here: Iona Island (New York) – Wikipedia.

      It was a windy wet day. Rt 9W is very scenic. Much nicer that the Palisades Parkway.
