We went shopping in New Jersey for rain pants in December. The first Columbia outlet I went to didn’t have any. I looked for another one on Google maps and found one in a shopping mall called American Dream in East Rutherford, NJ. I had never been there before. It is the biggest, fanciest place mall I have ever seen. It is way more than a shopping center. Check out American Dream‘s website to check out the things they offer and to watch the video. American Dream is an indoor theme park, water park, ski slope, and has many luxury stores. Plus lots of dining opportunities. It is the second largest mall in the United States. with an area of 3 million square feet. The largest shopping mall in the United States is the Mall of America located in Bloomington, Minnesota. It has 5.6 million square feet. I would need a motorized vehicle to get around in that one.
We had a fairly decent meal there. I bought a sweater on sale at Eddie Baur’s. And I found the rain pants on sale at the Columbia store. We walked about a mile from the huge parking lot through the mall and back. I took a photograph of where the car was so we could find it. That was quite and experience!
A great place to be for the day during a mid-winter cold spell!
I certainly is. I plan to go there again and look at the aquarium and other things.
What a fabulous place, I love the third photo. It must get very busy around Christmas time though.

My VW used to have an app to locate my car but they didn’t upgrade the wi-Fi device in the car. So now I rely on Google maps and photographs.
