The lavender-tinged flowers remind me of our native basket-flower, which often are lavender, but sometimes show up as white. These are all especially pretty.
There sure is a basket-flower. It’s one of my favorites, and quite common in our area. I’ve been lucky enough to find white ones, in addition to the dusty pink and lavenders.

Both are probably in the Asteraceae family. There is an american basket-flower https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Centaurea_americana 🙂 Cheers!
