NYBG Wetland Birds

It was a treat to see so many wood ducks and a swamp sparrow in the Bronx River.

The wood ducks are so beautiful – your photograph captures them perfectly. Love the sparrow too.

I’ve never seen a wood duck — lucky you, to be able to photograph them.

It is a treat to view these 2 photos. Regarding the first photo I don’t know which is more striking – the ducks in their patterned colors or the Jackson Pollock like context surrounding them which you seem to have painted /created.

Thanks BB. I did not create the background. That is the stream in a wetland area that the wood ducks were in which is part of the Bronx River.
