Old Bethpage Village (Home (oldbethpagevillagerestoration.org)) is in Nassau County, Long Island, New York. We had fun talking with the interpreters. Some of the trees had lovely color. There was a lot to see so I made many photographs.

What a wonderful place, it makes me think at a place we have here in Belgium dat is called “Bokrijk” where old houses and other buildings are put together in there original state. So now they can be admired for ever and it brings back lots of memories, certainly for people that lived in those ages (but they get fewer and fever every day). I like to visit that open air museum.
There are lots of places like this in the United States. Though our history doesn’t go back as far as yours. When we go to Europe again, I plan to look for some historic villages like this one.
Wow, what a fantastic looking place. The tree colours are gorgeous and your photos are stunning. A place I would love to visit but sadly will probably never get the opportunity.
Super pictures Sherry – Autumn is such a beautiful time of year. Love the Moon Inn and the long wooden fence shot too.
